Alright, I was asked to change my journal (I can understand why, that was way too depressing) so let's change the pace a bit.
Who all has heard of Wizard 101?
Wizard 101 is a free MMO that takes place in an extra planar place called the Spiral and you are one of the Wizard Academy's newest enrollments.
I find the game entertaining and, while the in game chat does annoy me quite a bit what with blocking most of the words in the English dictionary, it takes up my time delightfully. ^ ^
The game itself looks and feels like World of Warcraft meets Harry Potter; it has a cartoony vibe to it but it still manages to catch your attention with all kinds of the new items to acquire and spells you can learn.
Spells in this game are cast by using 'spell cards'. These cards are gained either by your trainers or by certain items. There are other cards you can gain called 'Treasure Cards', but while these cards are slightly more powerful, they are also one time use only. Use them wisely!
Spells and wizards are organized into 7 different 'Schools':
Ice - The most defensive wizards, they gain the most HP out of everyone. As such, they have a couple of spells that will let you 'taunt' your opponents so you can take the hits and save the power hitters in your group.
Fire - Fire does great damage, but they have more focus on spells that do great damage over time. Stack these spells up and you got yourself a power mage on your hands.
Storm - The strongest of all the schools. What they lack in accuracy they make up for in power.
Life - A majority of healing spells can be found here.
Death - Not the strongest spells, but they have several spells that can steal health from your opponents.
Myth - This school can summon 'minions', creatures to take up extra slots in your circle and help you fight the enemy.
Balance - This school is for people that prefer to play in groups and have several spells that can bolster the group.
Now, the only thing I find irritating is that, in order to play the full game, one must eventually buy 'crowns' or a subscription to unlock new places. In their defense, it's really the only way they can get money, but it's annoying none the less. By buying crowns, you unlock those new areas for life, while a subscription will unlock all areas as long as you're paying.
If anyone decides to start playing, I'm Angel DreamWeaver, a lvl 8 Ice Mage. Drop me a line and maybe we can play sometime.

I may not be perfect, but Jesus thinks I'm to die for.
I was great to meet you in person (first, nonetheless!) and I stand by what I said at dinner; YOU ARE AMAZING! Many kudos!
I look forward to working together!
